Welcome to the School of Religion and Theology (SORAT), University of KwaZulu-Natal. This website gives basic information about the Religion programmes offered by our School.

The Academic Affairs Coordinator of our Religion programmes is Prof Jannie Smit (his email address is smitj@ukzn.ac.za).

Religion students take the BA and related postgraduate degrees. Our courses are offered on the Durban campus, but one course is offered in Pietermaritzburg in the second semester each year, i.e. Introduction to Religion (RELG101). Please contact Tahir Sitoto for information about this course.
